Transport
PPSI operates its own fleet of vehicles and drivers who can collect you from the airport and transfer you from your hotel to hospital appointments. Transfers are complimentary for clients whose procedures are more than 100,000 Baht and are Agency cases or overseas clients who book through our website. If your procedure is less than this, transfers can be arranged on a fee for service basis at very competitive rates. If you require transport from the airport upon your arrival, please ensure that PPSI is aware of your travel itinerary and that PPSI has confirmed travel arrangements with you. If you flight is changed or significantly delayed, please let PPSI know this by calling +66 76 361888 Ext. 5498, 5499 from outside of Thailand and on +66 76 361888 if calling from within Thailand. If you are being collected from your hotel by PPSI transport, we will generally collect you in you hotel lobby around 30 minutes before your appointment time (times may change depending on the location of your hotel).
Taxi services are also available at the airport arrivals section. Whilst charges change, a meter taxi from the airport is around 500 Baht plus a 100 Baht airport booking charge. You can also get an airport limousine to your hotel, with prices starting from around 600 Baht. Small vehicles (called Tuk Tuk’s) offer taxi services around Phuket and you negotiate a fee directly with the driver before your journey (please ensure that you agree on the cost before your journey). There are also some public bus services between main destinations and another option is to rent your own car.
Pre Appointment Consultations
PPSI recommends to clients that they obtain an opinion from our surgeons on their suitability for surgery and to reduce the possibility that a client would not be accepted for surgery. These Pre Appointment Consultations require that clients forward to PPSI photographs and other evidence in order that surgeons can provide an opinion. Additional information on photographs is available here
Appointments
If you have an appointment with PPSI, please arrive at the hospital at least 10 minutes before your appointment time. If you wish to change your appointment time, please confirm this directly with PPSI.
Appointments Versus Confirmed Surgery
Your appointment date is when you get to meet your surgeon for a face to face consultation. This is your chance to ask your surgeon all the questions you have in mind. You may want to bring photos that will aid in explaining what result you expect to have the surgery. During this time you should also inform the surgeon about your medical history, previous surgeries and other pertinent health information. Surgery is only confirmed AFTER the consultation. An appointment date and surgery can be on the same day.
Prior to surgery, it is in your interests to stop smoking at least 4 weeks before your surgery. You should not apply any lotions or makeup prior to surgery, unless agreed with your surgeon, this also includes any nail polish.
Payments
PPSI requires payment in Thai Baht currency and payment in full is generally required upon admission and certainly before your surgery. For information on payment options see here. There are ATM or cash machines located within the hospital, however most will only dispense a maximum of 30,000 Baht per day (around US$1,000). Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport, as well as most banks and popular tourist destinations.
Money Transfers
Clients may make bank to bank money transfer payments to PPSI to the following account.

If you are or may be scheduled for surgery, please ensure that you discontinue taking any aspirin and vitamins at least two weeks before your appointment date. If you are having surgery under a general anesthetic on your appointment date, please do not drink or eat for at least 8 hours before your appointment/surgery time. If you are on prescription medications you must discuss this with your surgeon and advise them of your medical history. If you are unsure if you should cease taking any medication before your appointment or surgery, contact PPSI for clarification.
